Caught Up In The Moment

Lately, I’ve been caught up in the hecticness of every day life. It’s been a while since I have taken a moment to write or take care of myself both mentally and physically. After a foot injury this summer I had difficulties working out or being active at all and completely let go of my healthy routines such as workouts. This combined with all of the temptations of food while travelling has led me to just kind of give up…

Italian Romance

During my most recent trip to Italy, I took some time to shoot pictures in the picturesque city of Venice. With its canals, bridges and classic architecture the place has its own kind of charm. It is the perfect place to get lost and wander aimlessly through the smaller streets away from the busy crowds and touristic shops. Those little streets and canals are the true hidden gems of this city and exactly what I like the most. Here, you…

Serenity: Bali Travel Diary

Life is hectic. It is stressful and messy especially in a city like London. There is always something going on, somewhere we need to be and something that needs to be done. We tend to focus on our personal micro-universe even though we are constantly surrounded by thousands of people rushing around. However, it was fun to shoot the pictures because of the picturesque backdrop.…

Monochromatic Black in Paris

I love Paris, I love everything about it. From the stunning architecture and the kind, open-minded people to the museums and exhibitions: the city is enchanting in so many ways. I never get tired of visiting it and rediscovering its beauty. I had the opportunity of spending three days in Paris last week as part of a study trip my university organised. So of course, I took it. There was so much to see that it was impossible to fit…

Beauty 101: A Classic Holiday Red Lip

I am officially getting into the festive spirit and this year I am doing all the cliché activities: From attempting to build a gingerbread house and going ice skating with friends and family to decorating our Christmas tree. I already have my fairy lights scattered all over the place and I am absolutely loving it. So, why not keep it just as classic with my holiday makeup this season? To do so, I decided to go for a classic red lip…

Peru Travel Diary: Machu Picchu

A highlight of our trip to Peru was definitely exploring the Machu Picchu ruins. They are part of a highly sophisticated ancient Incan city located in the midst of mountains at an altitude of 2340 m above the sea level. There are two mountains directly surrounding the ruins. Montaña Picchu is the higher mountain while Huayna Picchu is more famous since it is often pictured in the background of photos. We decided to hike up Montaña Picchu while we were there, which…
